Whit these specks it is not surprising that the S7's top speed is 248 mph. Just to give you an idea of how fast that is I made a little comparison. The average takeoff speed for the commercial airplane Boeing 737 is 180 mph (source: http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question/performance/q0088.shtml) check it if you don't believe me. So this car is basically a airplane on the ground. Actually it is faster then a airplane on the ground, if it had wings it would be an airplane.



This is a nice car with some serious performance, but its not for anybody, as you might have figured out already. The price for a brand new Saleen S7 is about $ 555, 000., so you might want to brake a lot of piggy banks before you could afford one.

Awas, Migrain Bisa Merusak Otak

Ilmuwan menemukan migrain bukan sakit kepala biasa. Penyakit ini bahkan bisa menyebabkan kerusakan otak.

Studi ini dilakukan kelompok riset di Belanda. Sejak 2004 mereka meneliti penderita migrain yang memiliki atau tidak memiliki masalah penglihatan (lampu berkedip dan penglihatan kabur) dibandingkan kelompok dengan usia, pekerjaan, jenis kelamin sama tapi tidak memiliki migrain.

Ketika mereka melakukan tes Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) pada kelompok studi ini menemukan penderita migrain visual, sebenarnya memiliki luka kecil di otak yang mengontrol fungsi motorik (gerakan).

Luka pada otak ini kemungkinan besar disebabkan karena kurangnya oksigen. Bahkan, risiko kerusakan otak penderita migrain non-visual mengalami peningkatan. Selain itu, ilmuwan menemukan lebih banyak perempuan menderita migrain dibanding pria.

Peneliti memperkirakan sekitar 20 juta orang di Amerika Serikat (AS) menderita migrain. Jadi, banyak orang berisiko mengalami kerusakan otak. Jika serangan migrain terus berkepanjangan maka kerusakan yang ditimbulkan akan semakin besar.

Sayangnya, belum ditemukan bukti luka otak merugikan pasien atau tidak. Migrain disebabkan pengetatan spontan pembuluh darah di otak yang menciptakan kekurangan oksigen di wilayah otak tertentu.

Hal inilah yang menyebabkan rasa sakit. Bahkan, penelitian yang telah dilakukan belum cukup menjelaskan apa yang terjadi. Kemungkinan pemicunya adalah lingkungan (cahaya, kebisingan) atau kepekaan makanan (coklat) atau genetik (keturunan), namun masih sulit menentukan penyebab pastinya.

Studia ini juga menemukan penderita migrain cenderung terkena stroke. Otak penderita nampaknya sangat sensitif dan pada kasus berat, pasien harus minum obat secara teratur untuk mengontrol migrain supaya otak dapat berfungsi.

Penelitian juga menunjukkan penderita tak seharusnya berhenti berobat untuk memastikan migrain penderita mendapat perawatan. Saat ini, banyak obat yang dapat menghentikan dan mencegah migrain, tapi banyak orang tidak mau minum obat tiap hari.

Inggris Produksi Ponsel Yang Bisa Deteksi Penyakit Seks

Sejumlah ahli medis dan teknologi Inggris mengembangkan prototipe ponsel yang diklaim mampu mendeteksi penyakit kelamin yang menular.

Deteksi ini dilakukan dengan memeriksa sampel urin atau air liur individu yang dicurigai terjangkit STD atau penyakit menular seksual. Pemeriksaan dilakukan menggunakan chip USB khusus yang dihubungkan ke ponsel atau PC.

Dalam beberapa saat akan terlihat hasil apakah urin dan air liur itu terjangkit. Diagnosa dapat menunjukkan apakah terjangkit penyakit seksual, seperti klamidia atau gonore atau tidak.

Ponsel yang terhubung jaringan internet itu akan memberitahu cara pengobatannya, kata Dr Tariq Sadiq dari University of London seperti dikutip dari Guardian.

Menurut Sadiq, warga Inggris membutuhkan ponsel dengan kemampuan ini untuk mendiagnosa. Ponsel ini dibutuhkan untuk mengatasi peningkatan epidemi infeksi penyakit seksual menular yang terus mengancaman, kata Sadiq.

Inggris merupakan salah satu negara terburuk dalam hal kehamilan remaja dan penykit kelamin di Eropa barat, kata Sadiq. Ahli kesehatan seksual berharap ponsel ini dapat membantu mengurangi naiknya jumlah penyakit seksual selama 10 tahun terakhir di mana tahun lalu mencapai 482.696 kasus.

Designer Da Feng has created the unbelievable. His Gym Car packs in an entire workout and the cockpit is stashed with workout machines. The car is a human-electric hybrid and turns driving in to a healthy and sweat releasing activity. The car looks just as unbelievable as it is inside and has turbine-like rims, open wheel suspension, pointed nose, and a sleek design, which reminds you of those hot war planes that zoom past in the sky.

It apparently zooms like a fighter jet too, if speed was one of your criteria. However, it isn’t clear which exercise you could do while driving and if it all you could drive and exercise at the same time.
